Should I cut my items into squares before I drop them off or send them?
No, just bring or send your items to us and we will do all the work.
Will there be snaps and buttons on the blanket?
Yes, we try to incorporate them when we can, but if the snaps or buttons are loose we will remove them.
What kind of clothing can be used?
Almost anything, T-shirts, collared shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts, jeans, pajama’s and blankets. Please NO Underwear. No zippers will be used in a blanket.
Do I need to wash the clothing items before sending them?
Yes. Please do not send unwashed items, but do NOT use any fabric softener or dryer sheets.
Are your blankets quilted?
No, we do not use any batting.
Each item is specially prepared with a fusible backing then we sew flannel to the back of each item to prevent stretching and to give more stability.
This process also helps to fill any small holes and stops any runs on very worn items. The fleece provides a cozy and comfortable backing.
What do you use on the back of the blankets?
We use a soft fleece that comes in a variety of colors.
How do I care for my blanket?
We recommend that you machine wash your blanket on gentle cycle in cold water. Do NOT Bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
Do you offer any other sizes?
Yes, if you need a special size not listed, we will work with you.
